Sugestion -> Move To Github

Aug 14, 2015 at 5:42 AM
I suggest you to move the Project to Github!

The Community is much more active there! And you can include a build Server like AppVeyor, wich will automaticaly: run Unit tests (when you push smth.), build a artifact and create a Nuget Package!

Also Microsoft moved all it's Projects to Github (like NetCore, Roslyn, RyuJit,...)

I'll think about it. Maybe we'll keep it at both places. But to be honest I doubt it matters where it stored when it comes to having support from community. Either people like this project and help or they do not.

You are correct, but I think on Github it's much easier to contribute to a Project and it's also easier to merge Patches!

I've seen a lot of increase on Comunity work on Projects after they moved to GitHub!

If you'd like, I'l be pleased to help you! Also I can help you to setup AppVeyor to automatically create NuGet Packages for your Project!

Current NUGET package is managed by stimms. Setting up new "page" will just confuse users. I guess if stimms can give control to us and I'll get time to manage everything we can try keeping GIT, CodePlex and NuGet in sync to keep everyone happy.

I on your side, would lock the Codeplex Data and fully switch to github (because MS does it the same...)
(you see here: https://roslyn.codeplex.com)

There is also already a Dox Fork at github:
https://github.com/Word-DocX/DocX

wich was also forked by some of the Members:
